Soon I'm gonna finish high school and I've got a tough choice to make. I've got to choose the college/university to go to.(Just so you know, I'm not American, I'm from Estonia-that's in Europe) I've chosen a few things I could study: journalism, politics, English culture and finally...acting. There is an old and respectful Music And Theater Academy in my country and it has been a dream of mine to attend it. But now I'm having confrontations with my mom. She says that if I'm gonna study to be an actress, I'm definitely gonna end up without a job. Even though theater is very important in Estonia and it has a special social status. And she's always telling me not to throw my brains away to go to a school where all those go who don't have brains. What should I do? I've always wanted to be an actress, but in the back of my head I also have doubts about my future...What if do end up without a job?

Follow what you love. Honestly, people have no idea the wide range of jobs available for many fields. I'm an English major and I still get 'what are you gonna do, teach?' every single day. If you love it you'll find a way to make it work.
