I am a teenager, who is currently acting in my high school and other outside theaters, but, like most, my real dream is Broadway. I need to know all of what I can know to get on Broadway.
What does one have to do to get on Broadway?performing shows
You have to be extremely talented for one thing. If you have the opportunity to get into a first run show that has plans to move to Broadway if successful, that's one way. You audition for show tours and if you get in, sometimes those players get asked to go to Broadway to replace current actors.
Aside from that, you move to NY and pound the pavement like everyone else. Make sure you have provate voice lessons and tons of dance classes, not to mention your acting classes. You should also always be in a production. You need to keep performing.
