start small. work your way up. then enjoy. perhaps look up on some agencies but be sure to have a parent accompany you as there are many weirdoes out there.

take a audition and if u pass there u go
Why not just ask around your local area for other youngsters who like you wish to be rich and famous on Disney, within two streets of your home you'll find enough to fill a bus it will then be far less costly to go to an audition when there's 50 of you to share the bus fare.

since you're keeping it real and not expecting the world you'll be filming a few hours after the bus arrives and should be on TV by next week.
well i have a idea to help u. if u can't go over maybe show u can on a tape. sing a song and art out a screen on tape or dvd to send over.
Your parents are correct

And Disney ain't gonna bring you to LA, Miley and her dad had to buy their own ticket TWICE and she got turned down the first time.

And then you have to figure out where you're going to get the $2,500 to buy your SAG union card to work, Disney ain't going to buy that for you because they have to pay $2,000 in fines for going outside the union and hiring you!
You ought to be grateful that your parents have given you permission to act locally. Many kids with the same dream as you aren't nearly so lucky. You're also fortunate to live in a major city with SOME opportunities, instead of out in the middle of nowhere in a small town with none.

If your local "theater things" aren't good enough for you to START with, your pipe dream is going to remain just that.
