Sweeney Todd Audition?

A community theater near me is doing Sweeney Todd and I am dying to play Toby, it's my dream role....

I'm a good singer and actor but the problem is....I'm 16 and due to the content of the show it's usually played by someone older

i need to really nail the audition...

Could i please have some song advice and tips to make me look older (i.e wat to wear)

i was thinking:

giants in the sky (Into the Woods)

love I hear (...forum)

or

being alive (company)

Try Impossible Dream (Man of La Mancha) shows strength

King Herod Lament ( Jesus Christ Superstar)shows range and depth

Intro/Comedy Tonight (Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum) shows humor, which he need slightly in toby's role

Wear something nice and clean cut. try to avoid t-shirts and shirts with logos and writing. a nice button-down with a solid colored tee (that matches obivously) underneath. then wear nice jeans or slacks. if you have dirty, dirty sneakers as many teenaged guys do, try to find something a little cleaner. do your best to look professional. lastly, and most importantly, even though i know its hard, REALLY try not to be nervous! and if you are dont let the nerves get to you, and dont let them show!
